INVENTORY FORWARDING
Naegok MFC is an operating case that places inventory storage and fulfillment functions in underused urban space at a service station. Beyond moving goods a long distance after each order, it tests and operates an inventory forwarding model in which inventory reaches the area of demand first.

Automated equipment moves between racks and approaches its designated storage location.
PHYSICAL EXECUTION
An urban MFC is not simply a smaller warehouse. In a constrained space, decisions about what inventory to hold, where to place it, and how to retrieve it when needed must be designed as one flow spanning the operations system and physical equipment.
